Gayle Matthias
Biography
A practicing glass artist, educator and researcher, having exhibited nationally and internationally, Gayle Matthias has work in the permanent collections of the V & A, European Museum for Modern Glass Coburg, Musee de Vianne, Ebeltoft Museum of Glass amongst others. Previously, Gayle worked in the Gallery Education Department at the Crafts Council, she has also been an artist in residence in France and at Bullseye Glass in USA. She is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors, the Glass Virus international think tank and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Examples of her work can be found in many glass publications.
